Fall MAP Assessments – Tuesday & Wednesday
Our students will be completing their Fall NWEA MAP assessments on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. These assessments provide our teachers with valuable information about each student's current skills and areas for growth.
MAP is one of the tools we use to help guide instruction throughout the school year. The information gathered will help our teachers create flexible student groups and provide targeted instruction based on individual student needs. Our goal is to use this data to make sure students are appropriately challenged, supported, and continuing to make meaningful academic progress.
A Few Test-Taking Tips for Students:
Get a good night's sleep before testing days.
Eat a healthy breakfast and come to school ready to learn.
Take your time and carefully read each question.
Do your best on every question, even when a question seems challenging.
Use what you know and think through each answer before selecting it.
Remember that MAP is designed to adjust to each student's responses, so students may see questions that feel easy as well as questions that are more challenging. That's okay!
Most importantly, try your best and don't give up when you encounter a difficult question.
We are excited to see our students demonstrate what they know and continue growing as learners. Thank you for your continued partnership and support!
