Mrs. Julie Franczyk
Intermediate School Principal
Mrs. Franczyk began her career in Florida as a Special Education teacher and Behavior Specialist. She served as Middle School Assistant Principal in the North Hills School District, and most recently as Assistant Principal at Bower Hill Elementary in the Peters Township School District.
Mrs. Franczyk earned a Masters in Education Leadership from St. Leo University. She holds a B.S. in Special Education/Elementary Education from California University of Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Franczyk is thrilled to serve the Chartiers Valley community!
Mr. Schintz brings not only a familiarity with the IS community, but also a strong background in instructional leadership. He has served CVIS as both a teacher and the Math and Science Elementary Curriculum Lead. Mr. Schintz earned the SSP Excellence in Science Teaching Award last year and is a certified educator through Google Education, Project Lead the Way, and NMSI.
Here at CV, Mr. Schintz founded and coordinated STEM night at the IS and initiated partnerships with organizations like Robert Morris University and Remake Learning. Mr. Schintz holds a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Chatham University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.
